Job summary

Experience in Oman is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to drive the design and development of mechanical systems and components. You will lead projects from concept through production, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and meeting specifications.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, 2–3 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in CAD tools such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD, with a focus on steel fabrication.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant mechanical design/product development experience.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks or AutoCAD) with ability to create detailed 3D models and drawings.
• Experience in steel fabrication industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from concept through production with cross-functional teams.
• Conduct simulations and analyses using CAD to predict performance and identify design flaws before prototyping.
• Evaluate materials for mechanical properties, cost, and availability while considering environmental impact.
• Coordinate with factory and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and adherence to specifications.
