Customer Service

• Support store maintenance and visual presentation activities assigned by the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
• Monitor merchandise handling and support practices aimed at minimizing stock loss.

Inventory Control

• Record stock movements accurately for merchandise entering and leaving the store and maintain the required inventory reports.
• Remain attentive to merchandise availability and store presentation while following established stock-handling procedures.

POS and Cash Handling

• Operate the Point of Sale and billing counter efficiently.
• Tally cash in the till at the beginning and end of each applicable shift.
• Issue receipts, refunds and customer change accurately.
• Process payments through cash, credit cards, vouchers and automatic debit methods.
• Follow applicable procedures when handling customer transactions and store funds.

Security and Loss Prevention

• Maintain continuous awareness of store security and remain vigilant when handling merchandise and money.
• Follow established SOP and Loss Prevention Policies to protect store assets and minimize avoidable losses.

Work Requirements

The role requires flexibility to work varied shifts and overtime according to business requirements, including extended working hours during sale periods when required.
