Al Ghalbi International in Oman seeks a senior QA/QC professional to lead the Quality Management System for onshore oil and gas project maintenance and integrity efforts. A minimum of 15 years’ relevant experience is required, including 5 years in the Middle East. You will implement, operate and maintain QMS per SP-1171, train staff, and ensure subcontractor compliance.

Must hold IRCA Lead Assessor and CSWIP 3.1 or AWS CWI certifications; degree in engineering is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate engineer in a relevant discipline with strong QA/QC fundamentals.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in onshore oil and gas facilities.
• Experience in the Middle East preferred (minimum 5 years).
• Knowledge of Quality Management System practices across design, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning.

Responsabilités

• Be responsible for implementation operation and maintenance of Quality Management System in compliance with contract and SP-1171
• Advise guiding and motivating project line management on all Quality and verification activities and related technical matters
• Allocation of quality resources and for Quality training for all project personnel
• Manage QA QC staff on all worksites and ensure project quality targets are achieved
• Identify and manage risks that may have impact on quality and technical integrity
• Provide support and guidance to all Project Team members on quality related matters
• Ensure compliance of all project functions Sub-suppliers and Vendors with the Project Quality Management System requirements
• Provide input and steer to the annual QMS Management Review and track opportunities for improvement
• Liaise with Company on matters related to Quality

Company Al Ghalbi International - OMAN Job Location Coastal Project Maintenance and Integrity contract - North OMAN Experience - Shall have minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in onshore oil and gas facility projects including live installations Out of 15 years of experience 5 years of experience should have gained preferably in the Middle East Shall have sound knowledge in quality management in projects covering design engineering procurement construction pre-commissioning and commissioning phases Preferably be familiar with practices such as Flawless Project Delivery FPD and Technical Integrity Verification TIV

Qualification

Qualification: Shall be a Graduate Engineer (B.Sc. Eng. / BE/B.Tech.) either in Mechanical / Metallurgical / Welding / Electrical / Instrumentation / Civil engineering as appropriate.

Mandatory Certification / Registration

Mandatory Certification / Registration: Shall be a Registered Lead Assessor with IRCA, RABQSA or equivalent (where equivalent is proposed, evidence of equivalence shall be provided) Shall have Welding Inspection Qualification (CSWIP 3.1 or AWS- CWI) or equivalent.
