Zusammenfassung

Al Ghalbi International seeks an experienced QA/QC Lead for onshore oil and gas facilities in North Oman. You will implement and maintain the QMS, guide management on QA issues, and supervise QA/QC staff across multiple sites.

The role requires a B.Sc. Eng. and IRCA Lead Assessor registration, CSWIP 3.1/AWS-CWI, with 15 years of applicable experience including ME work. Live installations knowledge is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• 15 years minimum experience in onshore oil and gas facility projects, with at least 5 years in the Middle East.
• Sound knowledge of quality management across design, engineering, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning.
• Familiar with Flawless Project Delivery (FPD) and Technical Integrity Verification (TIV) practices.

Aufgaben

• Implement, operate and maintain the Quality Management System per contract and SP-1171.
• Advise and guide project line management on QA/verification and related technical matters.
• Allocate quality resources and conduct QA training for all project personnel.
• Manage QA/QC staff on all worksites and ensure project quality targets are achieved.
• Identify and manage risks affecting quality and technical integrity.
• Provide guidance to Project Team on quality matters.
• Ensure compliance of all project functions, sub-suppliers and vendors with QMS requirements.
• Contribute input to the annual QMS Management Review and track improvement opportunities.
• Liaise with Company on quality-related matters.

Experience

Shall have minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in onshore oil and gas facility projects, including live installations. Out of 15 years of experience, 5 years of experience should have gained preferably in the Middle East.

Shall have sound knowledge in quality management in projects covering design / engineering, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning phases.

Preferably be familiar with practices such as Flawless Project Delivery (FPD) and Technical Integrity Verification (TIV).

Qualification

Shall be a Graduate Engineer (B.Sc. Eng. / BE/B.Tech.) either in Mechanical / Metallurgical / Welding / Electrical / Instrumentation / Civil engineering as appropriate.

Mandatory Certification / Registration

Shall be a Registered Lead Assessor with IRCA, RABQSA or equivalent (where equivalent is proposed, evidence of equivalence shall be provided)

Shall have Welding Inspection Qualification (CSWIP 3.1 or AWS- CWI) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for implementation, operation and maintenance of Quality Management System in compliance with contract and SP-1171.
• Be responsible for advising, guiding and motivating project line management on all Quality and verification activities and related technical matters.
• Be responsible for allocation of quality resources and for Quality training for all project personnel.
• Manage QA/QC staff on all worksites and ensure project quality targets are achieved.

• Ensure compliance of all project functions, Sub-suppliers and Vendors with the Project Quality Management System requirements.
• Provide input and steer to the annual QMS Management Review and track opportunities for improvement.
• Liaise with Company on matters related to Quality.
