Job summary
Alstom Grid is seeking a full-time onsite Technical Leader for Platform Screen Doors in Al Buraymi, Oman. You will manage design activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations in large-scale rail projects.
The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, strong leadership skills, and proficiency in AutoCAD. This role offers opportunities for technical leadership and career progression in an inclusive environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Electrical Engineering and Design Management.
- At least 7 years of experience in railway transportation system engineering, focusing on Platform Screen Doors.
- Experience in leading PSDs in large-scale rail projects is preferred.
- Strong interface and leadership management skills.
- Fluent in English.
Responsibilities
- Manage design activities with Platform Screen Doors subcontractors.
- Lead the design, interface, integration, and implementation of PSD systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements and local railway regulations.
- Oversee installation and testing activities of PSD systems.
- Provide technical leadership during project close-out.
