Confidential Careers is seeking a Senior QC Engineer - MEP for a major railway project in Oman. You will lead quality control across MEP installations, ensure compliance with drawings, specs, and standards, and support handover.

The role requires 10+ years QA/QC experience in MEP construction, with railway or major infra exposure, and a proven ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and prepare thorough quality documentation.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 10 years of QA/QC experience in MEP construction works.
• Experience in railway, metro, or major infrastructure projects is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of MEP installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning procedures.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ITPs, Method Statements, MIRs, WIRs, NCRs, and quality documentation.

Aufgaben

• Lead and monitor quality control activities for MEP works in accordance with project specifications, approved drawings, and standards.
• Review and verify Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, material submittals, and quality control documentation.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with approved drawings and project quality requirements.
• Monitor installation and inspection of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, electrical, and other MEP systems.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, construction teams, and other railway disciplines to resolve quality-related issues.
• Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), corrective and preventive actions, and inspection observations.
• Monitor material inspections, testing procedures, and MEP testing and commissioning activities.
• Conduct quality audits and ensure timely closure of inspection comments and punch-list items.
• Maintain quality records, prepare inspection reports, and ensure proper documentation for project handover.
