Job summary

KBR, Inc is seeking a Lead Electrical Design Engineer based in Al Buraymi Governorate, Oman. The role requires extensive experience in the design of substations, transmission, and distribution systems, along with proven leadership skills to manage teams of engineers and designers.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 15 years of relevant industry experience. This position provides the opportunity to drive design integrity and technical leadership on substantial projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas industry, hydrocarbon, petroleum refinery, offshore, and infrastructure industries.
• Expertise in managing electrical engineering teams and projects.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 10 to 20 electrical engineers and designers.
• Perform/check electrical systems studies.
• Develop discipline work plans.

Skills

Expert knowledge & understanding of Design practices

Knowledge of local Saudi Arabia Standards

Wide knowledge of codes and industry standards
