John Cockerill seeks a highly motivated Proposal Specialist to lead the preparation, coordination, and submission of high-quality proposals in response to RFQs, RFPs, and tenders. The role requires expertise in cost estimation, pricing strategies, and cross-functional coordination to ensure accurate, competitive submissions.

The candidate will review RFQs/RFPs, manage technical and commercial proposals, and develop pricing models aligned with organizational objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years in proposal management, tendering, costing, or pricing.
• Experience in preparing and submitting technical and commercial proposals.
• Strong RFQ/RFP/tendering knowledge and bid management.
• Excel pricing models, data analysis, and cost calculations.
• Experience with government or defense tenders desirable.
• Excellent English communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Review RFQs, RFPs, and tender documents to identify requirements and deadlines.
• Prepare, coordinate, and manage technical and commercial proposals.
• Develop pricing models, quotations, and cost estimates.
• Conduct costing, pricing, and commercial analyses using Excel.
• Ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with tender specs.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, technical teams, and suppliers.
• Maintain proposal documentation, templates, and pricing databases.
• Manage multiple bid opportunities and track schedules for on-time submissions.
