Job summary

Software Systems LLC in Muscat is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the progress of all projects, ensuring that delivery timelines align with approved project plans. The ideal candidate will manage Project Management resources and facilitate communication between sales and delivery teams for project execution.

A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or IT is required, along with 7+ years of experience in a managed services environment. Strong technical background in handling Microsoft and Java projects is essential. PMP certification will be an advantage.

Job description

Oversee the progress of all projects and ensure delivery timelines are met in line with approved project plans.

Play the role of a Project Manager for key projects.

Efficiently manage Project Management resources to ensure that projects are staffed optimally.

Work with the sales team to ensure that all client commitments are properly documented and there is a smooth transition from deal to project.

Work with internal delivery team to ensure delivery of development artefacts.

Ensure that project is delivered to scope and effectively manage change requests.

Coordinating with multiple stakeholders/vendors throughout the lifecycle of the Project.

Build an excellent rapport with client project stakeholders

Ensure timely client reporting on projects as per project charter.

Conduct periodic steering committee meetings as per project charger requirements.

Efficiently manage client escalations

Qualifications / Experience:

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or IT related discipline.

Should have 7+ years of work experience

Should have experience of working in a managed services setup.

Good experience in handling application development related projects.

Good technical background in managing Microsoft, Java, Low Code Development Projects.

Excellent knowledge of Project and Project Management concepts and best practices

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. TOGAF, ITIL Certification is a plus.

Good planning, communication, and leadership skills.

You should be approachable and should possess good customer service orientation skills.
