Job summary

Confidential Company seeks an experienced IT Project Manager to lead system-integrator projects involving networks, servers, storage and cloud. You will coordinate cross-functional delivery, oversee procurement and testing, and ensure on-time handover with strong governance and client communication.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years in IT project management, a Bachelor’s degree, and PMP certification, with experience managing budgets, risks, RAID logs and change control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; PMP certification mandatory.
• 7–10 years of IT project management in a system integrator environment.
• Hands-on exposure to infrastructure, networking, security, servers, storage, cloud and integrations.
• Proven governance skills: manage scope, budget, risks, change control, UAT and handover; maintain RAID logs and progress reports.
• Strong communication and leadership to drive delivery with clients, OEMs, vendors and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Define scope, deliverables, schedule, milestones, resources, budget and implementation plan for IT system-integrator projects.
• Act as the main link between customers, consultants, internal engineering teams, OEMs, suppliers and subcontractors; manage communications and expectations.
• Coordinate delivery across networks, servers, storage, virtualization, security, cloud and software; oversee procurement, installation, testing, UAT and handover.
• Track progress, costs, risks, issues, dependencies and approvals; resolve escalations.
• Manage change requests to protect scope, timeline and budget.
• Maintain project governance, contracts, SLAs and cybersecurity compliance; document RAID logs, meeting notes and reports.
• Lead project meetings, present progress and solutions; coordinate training, warranty, support transition and closure.

Project planning

Define scope, deliverables, schedule, milestones, resources, budget and implementation plan for IT system-integration projects and support setting up a PMO to oversee multiple projects

Stakeholder and vendor management

Act as the main link between customers, consultants, internal engineering teams, OEMs, suppliers and subcontractors, managing communication and expectations throughout

Technical delivery coordination

Coordinate teams delivering networks, servers, storage, virtualization, security, cloud, software and integrations, ensuring procurement, installation, configuration, testing, UAT and handover are completed as planned

Progress and risk monitoring

Track progress, costs, risks, issues, dependencies and customer approvals and resolve escalations as they arise

Change control

Manage change requests to protect scope, timeline and budget when requirements shift

Governance and compliance

Maintain project plans, RAID logs, meeting minutes, action trackers and reports and ensure compliance with contracts, SLAs, cybersecurity requirements and quality standards

Reporting and closure

Lead project meetings, present progress, problems and solutions to management and customers and coordinate documentation, training, warranty, support transition and project closure

Experience

7-10 years managing IT projects in a system integrator environment, with hands-on exposure to infrastructure, networking, security, servers, storage, cloud and integrations

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree; PMP certification mandate. Project governance skills: Proven ability to manage scope, budget, risks, change control, UAT and handover, and to maintain RAID logs, plans and progress reports. Stakeholder and leadership skills: Strong communicator and active listener who can lead delivery teams, influence without direct authority, and manage clients, OEMs, vendors and subcontractors.

Omani national fluent in English and Arabic, comfortable with hybrid work, site and data‑centre visits, and travel across Oman.
