Job summary

Zohorecruit seeks a Senior Engine and Powerplant Leader based in Muscat to oversee Salam Air's engine and APU fleet. You will provide engineering leadership, ensure airworthiness, and drive reliability programs across in-service support, shop visits, and lease management.

You will collaborate with OEMs, MROs, and service providers to optimize maintenance planning, investigate in-service events, and maintain regulatory compliance throughout the fleet lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Mechanical/Aeronautical/Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years in aviation, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost-effective engineering and technical support for engine and APU fleet operations to maximize aircraft availability.
• Lead and coordinate reliability programs, in-service support, and lease management with MRO partners and OEMs.
• Review and implement SBs, ADs, and OEM instructions to ensure continuing airworthiness.
• Monitor engine and APU health using EHM data and perform root-cause analysis for faults.
• Coordinate line/base maintenance inputs, shop visits, and removal procedures with internal teams and service providers.
• Prepare post-shop visit reports and ensure regulatory compliance across the lifecycle of powerplant assets.
