Job summary

Al Baleed Resort Salalah by Anantara is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie – Pastry to join its luxury culinary team. You will lead the pastry production of desserts, breads and bakery items while upholding the resort’s high quality and presentation standards.

Collaborating with the Pastry Chef and coaching junior team members, you will ensure food safety and HACCP compliance across all pastry operations within a busy resort environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in pastry production in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
• Ability to lead Commis Chefs and junior pastry staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily preparation and production of pastries, desserts, and breads.
• Maintain pastry quality, taste, freshness, texture, and presentation.
• Organize mise en place and production according to business levels.
• Collaborate with the Pastry Chef to plan daily production.
• Ensure smooth operation of the pastry section during shifts.
• Maintain strict hygiene, HACCP, and health standards at all times.
• Monitor ingredients quality and stock rotation.
