Job summary

Munich Re Group in Oman is seeking an Operations Manager to support the General Manager by coordinating daily tasks, monitoring progress and aligning workflows with company standards. The role focuses on service levels, cross-department collaboration and project execution within the Oman market.

You will oversee Production, Medical, Pre-Authorization, Claims, Call Center and Network operations, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in senior operations roles managing complex environments.
• Operational track record with proven results.
• Experience improving efficiency, quality and customer experience.
• Strong SLA management, client TATs, and regulatory reporting.
• Certifications in process improvement are a plus (Six Sigma).

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations ensuring workflows service delivery and objectives align with strategy and client requirements.
• Monitor and drive performance through KPIs, SLAs, TATs and quality standards; identify gaps and implement improvements.
• Lead and monitor strategic projects ensuring timelines, budgets, deliverables and regulatory initiatives are achieved (e.g., Dhamani integration).
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, regulators, clients and providers for effective project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with group policies, regulatory requirements, SLAs and procedures; support audits and corrective actions.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, service quality and turnaround times while reducing redundancies.
• Prepare and maintain operational SLA, TAT and regulatory reports for management decisions.
• Build relationships across departments and with external stakeholders to ensure clear communication and consistent delivery.

As a member of Munich Re the MedNet Group is a leading Third-Party Administrator across the MEA region We are currently seeking to hire Operations Manager who supports the General Manager in achieving company business targets by coordinating daily operational tasks monitoring project progress and ensuring that workflows align with company standards This role focuses on improving service levels facilitating cross-departmental collaboration and assisting in project execution within the Oman market The Operations Manager ensures smooth operation by maintaining quality standards supporting the implementation of strategic initiatives ensuring adherence to client TATs Turnaround Times SLAs Service Level Agreements regulatory reporting requirements and assisting in performance monitoring across departments also required working closely with MedNet-defined HUB to ensure seamless service quality The Operations Manager is responsible for the performance and management of Production Medical Pre-Authorization Claims Call Center and Network departments including FWA in the Oman market

Your Role

• Oversee day-to-day operations ensuring workflows service delivery and operational objectives are aligned with the company s strategic direction and client requirements
• Monitor and drive operational performance through KPIs SLAs TATs and quality standards identifying performance gaps and implementing appropriate improvement actions
• Lead and monitor strategic and operational projects ensuring timelines budgets deliverables and objectives are achieved including regulatory initiatives such as Dhamani integration
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders regulators clients and service providers to ensure effective project implementation workflow readiness and successful delivery of operational initiatives
• Ensure compliance with group policies regulatory requirements SLAs and established procedures including supporting audits and implementing corrective actions where required
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational efficiency productivity service quality and turnaround times while reducing process redundancies
• Prepare and maintain accurate operational client SLA TAT performance and regulatory reports to support management decision-making and business reviews
• Build effective relationships across departments and with external stakeholders ensuring clear communication alignment on priorities and consistent delivery against organizational and client expectations

• Bachelor s degree in medicine, Business, or MBA.AAPC certification would be an added advantage
• Certification in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma) is a plus
• Large experience in managing complex operations environments, at least the last 5 years in Senior roles.
• Operational track record with proven results.
• Experience in managing operations through efficiency, quality, and customer experience.
• Strong understanding of SLA management, client TATs, and regulatory reporting.
