Job summary

IKEA Oman is seeking an Import Specialist to align retail and supply processes, manage imports/warehousing, and maintain strong store stock levels. The role requires strong coordination with customs and external warehouses to optimize costs and service quality.

The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure compliance with local regulations, and support store merchandising and customer satisfaction through efficient goods flow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in commerce or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, and customs.
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Control incoming containers and ensure adherence to supply setups.
• Coordinate with authorities for product approvals and duty rates.
• Manage imports/exports and track tariff codes.
• Plan stock availability and generate stock receipts (GRN).
• Ensure store stock availability to minimize shortages and meet demand.
• Monitor KPIs and drive cost efficiency in logistics.
