Job summary

Swibit, an AI solutions company expanding in Oman, seeks a Business Development Manager to lead growth across the public and private sectors, with a focus on government tenders, digital transformation programmes, and AI/technology consulting engagements.

You will be Swibit's commercial face in Oman, building relationships, shaping proposals, and driving the pipeline from first contact to signed contract, while collaborating with an international team of engineers and consultants.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years of business development experience in the Omani technology/IT services market.
• Proven track record of winning government tenders and enterprise contracts in Oman.
• Strong existing network within Omani government institutions and/or enterprise sector.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the Omani public and private sectors.
• Build and maintain a qualified pipeline of opportunities — tenders, RFPs, direct engagements.
• Monitor government procurement portals (Tender Board, Etimad) for relevant tenders.
• Map the competitive landscape and position Swibit's offerings against local and regional competitors.
• Develop sector-specific go-to-market strategies.
