Job summary

Serka Contracting LLC in Muscat seeks a full-time on-site Technical Office Engineer – Cost Controller to prepare and review project cost estimates and budgets, ensuring alignment with contract requirements and company standards.

You will coordinate with engineering, procurement and site teams to track quantities, analyze BOQs, verify drawings, and support claims, variations and forecasting, while maintaining organized documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil/Electrical) or related field.
• Experience in EPC or construction projects, especially cost control.
• Strong ability to interpret drawings and contract documents.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and cost-control software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update cost estimates and budgets for ongoing projects.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement and site teams to validate quantities.
• Analyze BOQs and verify shop drawings for quantities and compliance.
• Prepare cost reports and support quantity surveying activities.
• Assist in claims, variations and forecasting.
• Maintain organized project documentation.
