Job Overview

The Cost Control & Planning Engineerwill support the client’s project management team by monitoring projectschedules, controlling costs, and ensuring alignment between progress, budget,and contractual requirements. The role involves detailed planning, reporting,and analysis to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget..

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, review,and maintain the project schedule (baseline and updates)
• Monitor projectprogress and compare against planned timelines
• Perform criticalpath analysis and identify potential delays
• Prepare andupdate progress reports (daily, weekly, monthly)
• Track projectcosts, commitments, and expenditures
• Analyze costvariances and recommend corrective actions
• Reviewcontractors’ schedules, progress reports, and payment applications
• Supportevaluation of claims, variations, and extensions of time (EOT)
• Coordinate withproject team, contractors, and consultants on planning issues
• Ensureintegration between cost control and project scheduling
• Assist in riskanalysis and forecasting (time and cost impact)
