Job summary

Salam Air is seeking a seasoned Maintenance Control Centre Engineer to oversee real-time fleet operations and ensure safe, compliant maintenance across its aircraft.

The role requires coordinating with Line Maintenance, OCC and other departments, monitoring aircraft health, managing defects, and ensuring timely dispatch with minimal disruption to operations. A strong background in A320 family maintenance is preferred.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 7 years in aviation as certifying staff with at least 3 years in MCC duties.
• Level III course for A320 Family with CFM LEAP-1A & CFM56 is preferred or advantageous.
• Graduate degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee real-time fleet operations and monitor aircraft health.
• Plan, schedule and coordinate maintenance activities for both scheduled and unscheduled tasks.
• Ensure compliance with company maintenance procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Line Maintenance, Technical Services, OCC and other departments for timely issue resolution.
• Communicate with flight crews and maintenance teams about aircraft status and concerns.
• Maintain and update maintenance records and reports to ensure safety compliance.
• Analyze maintenance trends and suggest improvements to improve reliability.
• Provide technical support during AOG situations to minimize disruption.
• Coordinate with QA for one-off authorizations when needed.
• Follow up on deferred defects and spare parts planning to initiate corrective actions.
• Forecast workload and ensure timely release of serviceable aircraft per schedule.
• Prepare weekly operational review agenda and track necessary actions.
