Job summary

Salam Air is seeking a Maintenance Control Centre Engineer (MCC) to oversee, coordinate and support the fleet’s technical operations in real-time from Muscat. The role focuses on monitoring aircraft health, managing defects, and ensuring dispatch reliability while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

You will work with Line Maintenance, Technical Services, OCC and other departments to resolve issues, update maintenance records, and advise on schedules and parts provisioning to minimize

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in aviation as certifying staff, with at least 3 years in MCC duties.

Responsibilities

• Check aircraft history to prepare and control maintenance programs daily.
• Plan, schedule and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize operational disruption.
• Monitor ongoing maintenance tasks and help resolve issues per procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Line Maintenance, Technical Services, OCC and other departments to ensure timely issue resolution and readiness.
• Communicate updates on aircraft status to flight crews and maintenance teams.
• Maintain and update maintenance records and reports to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Analyze maintenance trends and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and reduce downtime.
• Provide technical support during AOG situations to enable swift recovery.
