Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Muscat seeks a polished F&B Server to join the Food and Beverage team. You will understand the outlet concept, perform mise en place to standard, and handle POS transactions with guests.

• Understand the outlet concept and F&B offerings and explain them to guests.
• Deliver service in a friendly, courteous and efficient manner.
• Properly up-sell services and products to guests.

Responsibilities

• Have a good understanding of the outlet’s concept and F&B offerings and be able to verbally explain those to guests.
• Ensure mise en place is completed shift to shift and during service to provide efficient service.
• Operate the POS to process food and beverage orders.
• Deliver service by understanding guest requirements.
• Carry out tasks in a friendly, courteous and efficient manner.
• Upsell services and products to guests to generate increased revenue.
• Process MOHG Gift cards and other non-cash payments.
