Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Muscat is seeking a Hostess to join the Food and Beverage team. You will understand the outlet concept, manage reservations, welcome guests, and ensure impeccable service with a professional image.

You should be comfortable communicating in English (and additional languages preferred) and contribute to creating WOW moments for guests while maintaining cleanliness and teamwork across the outlet.

Qualifications

• Have a good understanding of the outlet concept and menu offerings and explain them to guests.
• Display proper and professional phone etiquette and clearly register guest details.
• Converse well in English and preferably other languages to assist guests.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and escort guests and assist as needed within the hotel.
• Take reservations by phone, email, or online and update the booking system.
• Reconfirm reservations by phone or email and coordinate seating with management.
• Maintain accurate table counts and update the reservations system promptly.
• Suggest and upsell beverages per service sequence and relay orders to the waiter.
• Attend to guest complaints or refer to Outlet Manager if unresolved.
• Ensure cleanliness of public areas and uphold uniform and grooming standards.
