Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Muscat is seeking an experienced F&B Server to join our luxury Food and Beverage team. You will understand the outlet concept, explain menu to guests, ensure mise en place, operate POS, and deliver attentive service.

This role involves upselling, handling payments, partnering with kitchen and service colleagues, and ensuring guest satisfaction in line with MOHG standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, hospitality preferred.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Able to upsell and contribute to revenue.

Responsibilities

• Have good understanding of the outlet’s concept and menu and explain to guests.
• Ensure mise en place is completed each shift and during service; perform cleaning and prep tasks.
• Operate the POS to process food and beverage orders.
• Deliver service by understanding guest requirements and preferences.
• Carry out tasks in a friendly, courteous and efficient manner.
• Up-sell services and products to guests to enhance revenue.
• Process MOHG Gift cards and other non-cash payments.
• Handle billing according to hotel standards and cashiering policies.
• Ensure dishes are presented in line with hotel standards and F&B specs.
• Care for outlet equipment and utensils; manage stock as assigned.
