Job summary

Polymer Experts Oman seeks a Construction Manager to oversee site execution on DBOT polymer injection facility projects in Oman. The role emphasizes brownfield tie-ins, shutdowns and interface work with live infrastructure, under an EPC partner with technical direction.

The incumbent will manage construction activities, ensure permits and safety, coordinate with Operations and Quality, and drive safety leadership across concurrent operations. Expatriate single-status assignment in Oman.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified with 15-20 years' relevant experience.
• 10+ years managing and controlling site, integrating construction and commissioning across multiple oil and gas projects.
• Oversight of EPC contractor's site execution from the client / technical authority side.
• Experience with brownfield tie-in, shutdown and isolation work on live facilities.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 as they apply to site construction oversight.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary oversight for EPC construction execution, ensuring schedule, quality and HSE compliance.
• Review methodologies, site organisation and mobilisation plans against the Contract Execution Plan.
• Chair site progress and technical review meetings with EPC contractor leadership and site teams.
• Oversee brownfield tie-ins, shutdowns and isolation work, verify readiness for execution.
• Coordinate shutdown windows with client Operations and ensure alignment of packs and JSAs.
• Ensure Permit to Work, isolation certificates and Change management are in place before work.
• Work with Quality to ensure ITPs are approved and witnessed for critical processes.
• Oversee material management and logistics at site across multiple fronts.
• Manage construction-to-commissioning handover and unit readiness for pre-start checks.
• Own the construction schedule and assess impacts of field changes.
