Job summary

ZL Chemicals Ltd. in Muscat, Oman, seeks a Project Manager for polymer facility DBOT projects. You will lead from concept through commissioning, Operate, and Transfer, interfacing with the client and EPCs to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.

Role is expatriate, single status, based in Oman; requires heavy interface with operations, engineering, and HSE teams to drive zero-defect handover and compliant project execution.

Qualifications

• Engineering background with chemical, mechanical, petroleum focus.
• 20+ years in oil & gas with 10+ years in project management.
• Delivery of multiple DBOT/EPC/multi-package capital projects.
• Experience managing EPC subcontractors and multi-party contracts.
• Brownfield interface planning and tie-in execution safety.
• Proven planning and controls experience: S-curves, EVM, cash flow.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 quality/HSE standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery: concept through commissioning, Operate, and Transfer.
• Own the Project Execution Plan, schedule and cost baselines, and risk management.
• Interface with client and EPC contractors, manage variations and claims.
• Oversee interface management plans and brownfield tie-ins.
• Ensure adherence to permit-to-work, isolation, and change control.
• Manage a multi-disciplinary project team across engineering, construction, commissioning, QC, HSE.
