Job summary

Crowne Plaza Muscat OCEC, part of InterContinental Hotels Group, seeks an IT Specialist to oversee day-to-day IT operations, ensuring hotel tech runs securely and efficiently to support guest experience. You will manage infrastructure, system support, and technology projects aligned with business needs.

The role emphasizes compliance with IHG standards, customer service excellence, and collaboration with hotel teams to deliver innovative tech-enabled guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science or related field.
• Minimum 2 years IT support/coordination experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, networking (LAN/WAN).
• Experience managing iOS and Android devices.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and customer service skills.
• Previous hotel experience is an advantage.
• English fluency; Arabic is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot hotel IT infrastructure and devices.
• Install, configure, and upgrade hardware and software.
• Provide timely technical support to hotel colleagues and departments.
• Monitor network, server, email, and business applications performance.
• Maintain IT asset inventories, software licenses, and documentation.
• Perform backups and support data recovery processes.
• Support PMS, POS, Wi‑Fi, and guest-facing technologies.
• Ensure compliance with IHG IT standards and cybersecurity requirements.
