Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science or related field.
• Minimum 2 years IT support/coordination experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, networking (LAN/WAN).
• Experience managing iOS and Android devices.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and customer service skills.
• Previous hotel experience is an advantage.
• English fluency; Arabic is a plus.

What is the job?

The IT Specialist is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day IT operations, ensuring that all hotel technology systems are running efficiently, securely, and in alignment with business needs. This role involves managing IT infrastructure, system support, cybersecurity, and technology projects to enhance operational efficiency and the guest experience. The IT Manager ensures compliance with IHG standards and promotes innovation to support the hotel’s strategic objectives.

Your day to day

• Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot hotel IT infrastructure, including computers, printers, tablets, smartphones, and network devices.
• Install, configure, and upgrade hardware and software systems.
• Provide timely technical support to hotel colleagues and departments.
• Monitor network, server, email, and business application performance.
• Maintain IT asset inventories, software licenses, and system documentation.
• Perform regular backups and support data recovery processes.
• Support hotel systems, including PMS, POS, Wi‑Fi, and guest-facing technologies.
• Ensure compliance with IHG IT standards, cybersecurity requirements, and data protection procedures.

What we need from you

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support, IT coordination, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, networking, LAN/WAN, and troubleshooting.
• Experience managing iOS and Android devices.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
• Previous hotel experience will be an advantage.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written); Arabic is a plus.
