Job summary

Aloft Hotels is seeking an Information Technology professional to provide first- and some second-level support for our property-based systems, including repairs, installations, and maintenance. The role requires working within established guidelines to ensure reliable technology services across designated properties.

Responsibilities include budgeting input, device provisioning, security compliance, disaster recovery coordination, and end-user support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 2-4 years IT experience.
• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Information Technology or Business Administration, or related major; 2 years experience in a related area.
• System-related professional certifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist IT leadership with CAPEX and operating budgets based on project needs.
• Ensure property IT compliance with Marriott policies and Information Security Manuals; implement solutions as directed.
• Place equipment orders for PCs, telecoms, local servers/networks and process related invoices.
• Conduct periodic inventories of applications and hardware; prepare requested reports.
• Ensure technology assets are secured and compliant with vendor contracts.
• Write and present proposals, analyses, and project plans; provide customer service to property associates.
• Escalate IT support through supervisor or Marriott resources; provide end-user support and status updates.
• Assist in disaster recovery and business continuity planning related to technology; provide technical guidance.
• Coordinate server maintenance, backups, and secure server environments; support corporate and regional initiatives.

Education
