Job summary

Alila Hinu Bay seeks an IT Operations professional to manage the Information Systems department, aligning with Hyatt standards of service and efficiency. You will direct IS operations, assist management, and ensure data security and system reliability across hotel functions.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in IT or related field and 4+ years of IT Operations experience, preferably in hospitality. English fluency is essential; Arabic is a plus. Open to locals and expatriates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in IT Operations.
• Experience within hospitality, or large-scale operational environments is highly preferred.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is preferred but not mandatory.
• This position is open to both Omani nationals and expatriates.
• Experience supporting operational IT environments, including shift work, night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manage the IS department in a professional, efficient manner with flexible service to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Assist with development and maintenance of Department Operations Manual reflecting IS policies and procedures.
• Provide technical assistance to hotel management to minimise overhead and maximise productivity in all areas.
• Coordinate repair and return to service of faulty systems or equipment.
• Establish procedures to ensure data backup and security of IS systems.
• Carry out other reasonable duties as assigned.
