Job summary

SGS in Oman is seeking an experienced Business Development Specialist in ISO Certification to drive growth, manage the full sales cycle, and build long-term client relationships. The role requires leadership in lead generation, proposal development, and renewal strategies while promoting ISO standards such as 9001, 14001, 45001, and 27001.

You will lead client engagements, negotiate terms, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to close deals and ensure ongoing client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5-6 years of overall professional experience in sales or business development.
• 2-3 years of experience working with an ISO certification body is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of ISO certification processes and key standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 27001.
• Experience in B2B sales, lead generation, negotiation, and client relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Drive business growth and manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation through to closure and renewal.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates and professional commercial proposals.
• Negotiate terms and drive opportunities through to contract confirmation.
• Maintain regular client communications and support renewal processes.
