Job summary

Global Business Network LLC (GlobNet) in Muscat, Oman, seeks an experienced Operations Leader for our factory and fit-out sites. You will manage machines and workers, schedule production, and coordinate with clients and consultants to ensure timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has a track record of efficient operations, strong leadership, and hands-on experience in interior fit-out and joinery. GCC driving license and Oman NOC are required; a graduate in a relevant discipline is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role, including at least 3 years in the Gulf.
• Experience in Interior Fit-Out & Joinery.
• NOC and current Oman residency.
• GCC driving license is a must.
• Graduate with relevant discipline.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all factory and fit-out operations, managing machines and workers.
• Improve productivity with modern management practices.
• Handle estimation, cutting lists, and planning daily/weekly/monthly work.
• Schedule production cycles, procure materials, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Liaise with consultant/client to align expectations and ensure smooth completion.
• Recruit, train, and retain multi-cultural workforce.
• Maintain high standards of HSE on shop floor and sites.
• Mentor staff, enforce discipline and wellbeing.
• Drive healthy bottom line and business growth.

Job description

• Minimum a Graduate in relevant discipline

Job Description/Responsibilities

• Fully responsible for the workings and managing machines & workers of all disciplines in the Factory & Fitout work sites.
• Independently enhancing and achieving higher productivity with modern management skills.
• Responsible for estimation, cutting lists, planning daily / weekly / monthly work allocation, man hour utilization against estimates, managing subcontractors, etc.
• Responsible for scheduling of production cycles with post contract activities – MAS / drawings / Mockups / samples approvals, indenting materials for procurement, shop & Site floor management, quality assurance, on time deliveries and site management for installations.
• To hold consultant / client interaction independently, record the aspirations and expectations of the consultant / client on projects and communicate the same to related departments to ensure satisfactory completion process.
• Ability to recruit, train and maintain skill sets of multi-cultural new and existing blue collared workers.
• Responsible to maintain high standards of HSE practices on the shop floor and work sites.
• Responsible for mentoring, counseling and motivation of the work folk. Strict adherence to discipline and wellbeing amongst the work force.
• Responsible for a healthy bottom line with ability to enhance the business.
