Job summary

GRG in Muscat, Oman, seeks a General Manager to lead its established furniture and kitchen business. You will own the P&L, set strategy, and drive profitable growth while overseeing sales, design, finance, procurement, logistics, warehousing, installation and delivery.

Reporting to the Board, you will build a high‑performing, multicultural team, strengthen key customer relationships, expand the B2B pipeline, and improve retail performance.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in furniture retail, offices, kitchens, interiors, with clear P&L responsibility.
• Proven profitability improvements via sales growth, margin management, sourcing, inventory and operational execution.
• Experience in both B2B/project sales and consumer retail, including major contract negotiations and senior stakeholder management.
• Oman market experience preferred; GCC multi-market experience acceptable.
• Hands-on, credible leader; fluent in English.

General Manager – Furniture & Kitchens

Our client is seeking an accomplished General Manager to lead its established furniture and kitchen business in Oman. This is a high-autonomy leadership opportunity for a commercially focused operator who can introduce fresh ideas, strengthen execution and take full ownership of business performance.

Position Overview:

As General Manager, you will lead the complete operation across office furniture, home furniture and kitchens, serving government, corporate and retail customers. Reporting to the Board, you will develop and execute the business strategy, own the P&L and drive sustainable revenue, margin and profitability growth. You will oversee sales, design, finance, procurement, logistics, warehousing, installation and delivery while building a high-performance culture across an experienced, multicultural team. You will also strengthen key customer relationships, expand the B2B pipeline, improve retail performance and use commercial data from the company’s ERP system to guide decisions and report progress to the Board.

Requirements:

• Senior leadership experience within furniture retail, office furniture, kitchens, interiors or a closely related sector, with clear P&L responsibility.
• A proven record of improving profitability through sales growth, margin management, sourcing, inventory control and operational execution.
• Experience across both B2B or project sales and consumer retail, including major contract negotiations and senior stakeholder management.
• Oman market experience is strongly preferred. Alternatively, candidates should bring substantial multi-market GCC experience and the ability to succeed in relationship-led markets.
• A culturally agile, hands-on leadership style with the credibility to lead experienced department heads and a diverse workforce. Fluency in English is essential.
