We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager to join our team in Salalah Oman. As our ideal candidate you will have a strong background in construction management with a focus on residential and commercial projects. You will be responsible for overseeing all phases of construction projects from planning and budgeting to execution and completion. Your attention to detail and ability to effectively manage resources will be crucial in ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of construction projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource management
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure project goals are met
• Monitor progress and quality of work on site, identifying any issues or delays and implementing corrective actions as needed
• Manage project budgets and timelines while maintaining quality standards
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Prepare reports on project progress for upper management
• Negotiate with suppliers for materials procurement at the best possible prices
• Maintain relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify potential new business opportunities
• Mentor and supervise junior staff members as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction management roles
• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred (equivalent experience may be considered)
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, materials, tools, and equipment
• Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders at all levels
• Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
• Ability to think critically and problem-solve on site under pressure
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience using project management software is a plus
