Job summary

Software Systems LLC is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst with a strong focus on financial systems to bridge business stakeholders and technical teams. You will ensure financial platforms are implemented, integrated, and optimized across the organization.

You will lead requirements gathering,define scope, and translate needs into functional specifications while supporting the full lifecycle from discovery to post-go-live.

Qualifications

• 6+ years as IT Business Analyst focusing on financial systems.
• Experience in full lifecycle implementations from discovery to post-go-live.
• Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile/Scrum preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation for financial system implementation projects.
• Partner with stakeholders to define scope, success criteria, and process improvements.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for development teams.
• Support end-to-end implementation lifecycle: requirements, design, testing, UAT, training, and go-live.
• Perform gap analysis, data mapping, and integration validation for financial applications.
• Facilitate workshops, walkthroughs, and status reporting to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, QA, and finance teams to ensure timely delivery.

• Hands-on experience with analysis tools such as SQL, JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart, and data visualization tools
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.
• Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
