The role emphasizes strong analytics, bilingual communication (Arabic and English), and close collaboration with customers and internal teams to translate requirements into deliverables.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in BRD/FRS/DOCs,-led workshops, and driving acceptance criteria across complex systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Software Development Life Cycle with Agile and Waterfall.
• Experience facilitating projects involving system integration.
• Experience drafting BRD, FRS, and Gap Analysis reports.
• Experience in IT business analysis, application solutioning design and testing.
• Participation in at least one full software/product development cycle of an enterprise system.

Role Purpose(s)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to serve as the primary point of contact between the customer, internal cross-divisional teams, and external partners. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with exceptional communication skills in both Arabic and English, ensuring requirements are accurately captured, translated into actionable deliverables, and aligned across all stakeholders. This role is central to bridging business needs with technical execution on large-scale projects.

Key Accountabilities

• Partner with customer working team to elicit business needs using human-centric methods like service journeys.
• Develop business cases that reflect user needs and strategic goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define user stories, functional/technical specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Ensure product/system readiness for deployment, adoption, and operations.
• Analyze the impact of change requests and propose enhancements to meet evolving business needs.
• Work with support teams to resolve technical issues during the Operations & Maintenance phase.
• Identify gaps in the product development lifecycle and drive best practices.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement across teams.
• Be accountable for delivering meaningful business value through project outcomes.

Job Responsibilities & Duties

You will be involved in a range of tasks including the following:

• Partner with business teams/customer working team to elicit citizen/business needs through human-centric, visual methods such as service journeys and develop the appropriate business case.
• Work with fellow project team members to develop user stories, functional/technical specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Prepare, review, and maintain Business Requirements Specifications (BRS), Software Requirements Specifications (SRS), and Interface Control Documents (ICD) to ensure clear, complete, and traceable requirements for solution development and system integration
• Act as the key liaison between the customer and internal/external stakeholders to drive discussions, coordination, and alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
• Ensure system or product readiness for smooth deployment, adoption and operations.
• Analyse impact of requested changes and propose improvements to continuously address changing business needs, and work with support team to understand and address technical problems (Operations & Maintenance phase).
• Shape and improve the product development process by identifying gaps, driving best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Be ultimately accountable for delivering meaningful outcomes and business value through the resulting applications.

Education Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or a related discipline.
• PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) or equivalent business analysis certification is an advantage

Working Experience Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience working within the Software Development Life Cycle, with a proven track record in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Direct experience facilitating projects where system integration is involved.
• Extensive experience in drafting Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), and Gap Analysis reports.
• Prior working experience in IT business analysis, application solutioning design and testing.
• Participated in at least one full software or product development cycle of enterprise system, preferably in modernisation or system migration projects.
• Experience leading workshop to extract requirements from non-technical users and translating them into technical constraints for the engineering team will be an added advantage.
• Experience managing "Scope Creep" in complex environments where changing one system has a ripple effect on other systems.
