Job summary

VerityX Talent seeks a Senior Business Analyst to bridge business and technology on a large public-sector transformation programme in Muscat. You will map current-state processes, capture complex business rules, and reengineer workflows into efficient target-state designs that support a SOA architecture.

You will author BRD/SRS/NFR artefacts, facilitate senior stakeholder workshops, and ensure traceability across service lines. Onsite work in Muscat, Oman is required.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of business-analysis experience.
• Experience on digital, platform or data-registry transformation programmes.
• Public-sector, social-sector or BFSI background is ideal.
• Proven track record authoring BRD / SRS / NFR artefacts at scale.
• Strong senior stakeholder workshop-facilitation capability.
• Strong process-modelling skills including BPMN/UML.
• Workflow-reengineering experience.
• Strong requirements-traceability capability.
• Integration/data-requirements experience.
• Ability to connect business intent to SOA service design.
• Strong English is ESSENTIAL for stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation.
• Ability and willingness to work onsite in Muscat, Oman.

The Senior BA works closely with the Solution Architect to streamline the end-to-end workflows behind the SOA-based platform — mapping current-state processes and eligibility/business logic across multiple service lines, reengineering them into efficient target-state flows, and translating them into the service and data requirements the architecture must support.
