Job summary

AS Edutech Hr Consultant is seeking an experienced private household cook in Oman to prepare daily meals across Indian, Arabic and Mediterranean cuisines. The role requires high standards of hygiene, discretion and reliability, with duties spanning planning, cooking, and pantry management in a private home.

Salary up to SAR 2,700 depending on experience and skills. Preference for Gulf-return candidates who can demonstrate authentic cooking ability and trustworthiness in handling family privacy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 25 years of professional or domestic cooking experience, Gulf return preferred.
• Proficiency in English (or basic Arabic) and ability to multitask.

• Meal Preparation: Plan and cook daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner tailored to the family's dietary needs.
• Cuisine expertise: Prepare Arabic (Kabsa, Hummus, Shawarma), Indian, and Continental/Mediterranean dishes.
• Kitchen management: Purchase groceries, plan weekly menus, and manage pantry stock.
• Hygiene and safety: Maintain cleanliness and follow strict food safety guidelines.

• Meal Preparation: Plan and cook daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner, specifically tailoring meals to the family's dietary needs and preferences.
• Cuisine Expertise: Prepare a variety of dishes, with high demand for Arabic cuisine (e.g., Kabsa, Hummus, Shawarma) alongside Indian and Continental/Mediterranean options.
• Kitchen Management: Purchase groceries, manage weekly meal plans, and maintain inventory and pantry stock levels.
• Hygiene and Safety: Ensure the kitchen, appliances, and utensils are spotless, sanitized, and adhere to strict food safety guidelines.

Preferred candidate profile

• Excellent experience in authentic Indian cuisine.
• Must be able to cook Indian and Arabic cuisine.
• Knowledge of Italian cuisine would be an advantage.
• Preferably Muslim.
• Clean, hygienic, reliable and respectful.
• Previous private household experience is preferred.

Salary: up to SAR 2,700 depending on experience and skills.
