Job summary

Omantel is seeking a senior leader to drive TechCo+ ambition by identifying and incubating emerging technology services. You will translate capabilities into commercial propositions and own feasibility, business case, and commercial structuring.

Role requires Bachelor's degree, 8 years of experience with at least 3 in management, and preferable professional certification. You will lead a high-performing team within Digital Growth in Muscat, Oman.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in a relevant discipline is required.
• Professional certification in the field is preferable.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience with at least 3 in management.
• Experience leading technology ecosystems and partnerships is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and activate Omantel's emerging technology and partner ecosystem strategy across InsurTech, FinTech, TravelTech, MedTech, and adjacent verticals.
• Advise executive leadership on emerging technology trends and commercial implications.
• Build and manage a structured technology partner pipeline across startups, scale-ups, and vendors.
• Define minimum viable offerings, pilot criteria, GTM assumptions, and scale readiness for each opportunity.
• Own the business case end to end, including revenue, costs, and investment needs.
• Design and negotiate the commercial construct with Legal, Regulatory, Finance, and Procurement through to signed agreement.
• Manage partner contracts across lifecycle, including terms, SLAs, renewals, and perf management.
• Own and manage the innovation portfolio and budget, tracking pipeline health and returns.
• Build and lead a high-performing team with a focus on Omanisation and talent development.
