Job summary

Crowne Plaza Muscat OCEC, part of InterContinental Hotels Group, is seeking a Guest Service Specialist to deliver an outstanding guest experience from check-in to check-out and to support all front office operations in line with IHG standards.

The role requires 1–3 years in guest relations or front office, a High School Diploma (Hospitality preferred), strong English communication, and familiarity with PMS systems. A calm, professional demeanor is essential to handle inquiries and resolve issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality education preferred.
• Experience in guest relations/front office or customer service in hotels.
• Experience with international hotel brands is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests during check-in/check-out with accuracy.
• Provide information on facilities, services, and local attractions.
• Address inquiries and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate between Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B and other departments.
• Maintain guest profiles and preferences in the PMS system.
• Support VIP or group arrivals with personalized attention.
• Assist in training new staff and participate in shift briefings.
