Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts, Crowne Plaza Muscat, is looking for an enthusiastic F&B Attendant to deliver friendly, efficient service in a premium hotel setting.

You will welcome guests, set up tables and stations, take and serve orders, explain menus, and coordinate with kitchen and bar to ensure a seamless dining experience. English proficiency required; weekend/holiday shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food and beverage service is preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused with a positive and friendly attitude.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Good knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene practices.
• Professional appearance and excellent grooming standards.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests in a warm and professional manner.
• Set up tables, service areas, and buffet stations according to standards.
• Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Provide knowledgeable assistance regarding menu items, beverages, and promotions.
• Ensure food and beverages are presented and served according to company standards.
• Clear and reset tables promptly while maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
• Handle guest requests, questions, and complaints professionally and ESCALATE issues when necessary.
• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety.
• Replenish service items, condiments, cutlery, and other supplies as required.
• Coordinate with the kitchen, bar, and other departments to ensure smooth service.
• Process bills and payments accurately when required.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and service standards.
• Assist with opening, closing, and cleaning duties as assigned.
• Support colleagues and other F&B outlets during busy periods when required.
