Job summary

Confidential is seeking an experienced Traffic and Vehicle Specialist to monitor vehicle movement, manage fleet operations, and ensure regulatory compliance in Oman. The role uses smart tracking and data analysis to optimize fuel usage, maintenance, and safety across the fleet.

Responsibilities include supervising vehicle handovers, coordinating rentals, performing inspections, and preparing monthly fleet reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in managing or monitoring vehicle fleets.
• Knowledge of traffic regulations, insurance, and accident procedures.
• Strong organizational skills and proficiency in Excel for reporting.
• Ability to follow up in the field and coordinate with multiple parties.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily vehicle movement and provide operational support to keep work running smoothly.
• Track vehicles around the clock via GPS to ensure adherence to routes and respond to emergencies.
• Supervise vehicle handover and return, documenting the vehicle's condition.
• Coordinate vehicle rentals and contracts with relevant parties.
• Conduct inspections to confirm vehicles are fit for use before handing them to users.
• Follow up on maintenance with workshops to ensure continuity of operations.
• Monitor fuel levels daily and analyze consumption data to control costs.
• Track renewals of registrations, insurance, and regulatory requirements.
• Handle traffic accident procedures with Najm, insurers, workshops and authorities.
• Prepare monthly reports on fleet movement, maintenance, fuel consumption, accidents, and costs.
• Provide recommendations to improve fleet efficiency and reduce costs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
