GULF INTERNATIONAL LOGISTICS SERVICES L.L.C in Muscat is seeking an experienced Fleet Dispatch and Operations Leader to schedule heavy haulage movements across Oman, optimize prime mover and lowbed usage, and coordinate route surveys and permits with government relations teams.

You will supervise a team of drivers, oversee maintenance, enforce HSE standards, and drive cost-control initiatives, with readiness for 24/7 operations and site emergencies.

Qualifications

• Experience: 7–10 years in fleet operations in GCC with 3–5 years in Oman managing heavy haulage and project logistics.
• Technical knowledge: 6x4 tractors, lowbeds, multi-axle trailers, and cargo lashing standards.
• License: Oman Light or Heavy Driver’s License.
• Language: English professional proficiency; Hindi/Urdu fluent; Arabic basic is a plus.
• Leadership: hands-on, able to manage night operations and site emergencies 24/7.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute heavy haulage movements across Oman and ensure optimal fleet utilization.
• Supervise a team of drivers, recruit and screen qualified staff, and minimize absenteeism.
• Oversee preventive maintenance and inspections with workshops and garages.
• Ensure HSE compliance and manage client gate clearances and permits.
• Track fuel, route costs, and maintain fleet records for cost control.
