Job summary

sahm capital is seeking a Business Technical Support Engineer L1 in Oman to research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve customer issues across web/mobile apps and backend systems. You will work with a support team, guided by experts, gaining exposure to financial markets and server architectures.

The role emphasizes ownership, clear communication, and rapid escalation when needed, with a focus on delivering accurate feedback and maintaining thorough issue documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 2-3 years working experience in IT/Fin-tech or banking.
• Proven experience with multiple systems, software and hardware.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of Fin-tech applications.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of customer issues reported and see problems through to resolution.
• Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve customer issues.
• Daily assist Client Care department in answering user inquiries/questions.
• Follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams.
• Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers.
• Ensure proper recording and closure of all issues.
• Prepare accurate and timely reports.
• Document knowledge in the form of knowledge base tech notes and articles.
• Follow the SLA for issues with respect to severity.
