Aljasagroup is seeking a Finance / Accounts Officer in Oman to manage day-to-day accounting tasks and ensure smooth financial operations. This role supports financial reporting, billing, and payment processing while maintaining accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

The ideal candidate should have a B.Com or M.Com degree and 2–5 years of experience in accounting or finance. Proficiency in accounting software and strong analytical skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in accounting or finance roles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain financial records, journal entries, and general ledger updates.
• Prepare invoices, purchase entries, payment vouchers, and receipts.
• Handle vendor payments and employee reimbursements.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reconciliation reports.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and project cost tracking.

Skills

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping

Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, ERP systems)

Excellent numerical and analytical abilities

Good communication and documentation skills

Strong MS Excel skills

Ability to meet deadlines and maintain accuracy

Education

B.Com / M.Com / Accounting or Finance degree
