Job summary

AL-Futtaim Financial Services in Oman is seeking an Omani National Accountant to support month-end reporting, budgeting, forecasting and intercompany processes.

You will produce monthly flash and IFRP reports with variance analysis, ensure month-end closing accuracy, and oversee approvals, settlements and cost control.

The role requires a finance degree, professional certification and 3–5 years' experience; proficiency with Office 365 and SAP S4 Hana is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is required.
• Professional certification CMA/CPA/ACCA or equivalent preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
• Proficiency in costing & budgeting, financial accounting, Office 365, and SAP S4 Hana or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly flash and IFRP reports with variance analysis and key performance insights
• Ensure accurate month-end closing with all reconciliations and accruals completed
• Oversee approvals, ICM settlements, and cost control activities
• Manage daily bank, cash, and receipt reconciliations, ensuring control over funds
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and drive efficiency through automation
• Arrange for and handle all insurance coverage and claims related to insurance
• Review and verify insurance data accurately and process claims in a timely manner
