Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Field Specialist – Drilling & Completion Fluids to provide on-site services, testing, and supervision of fluid systems at customer rig sites. You will work to maintain fluid properties, manage inventory, and engage with customers to deliver practical solutions.

The role requires a relevant bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of Drilling & Completion Fluids experience, along with basic product line knowledge and strong teamwork capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3-5 years of experience with Drilling & Completion Fluids.
• Basic knowledge of product lines.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite services by measuring, testing, and supervising fluid mixing and pumping.
• Maintain fluid properties at rig sites by accurate testing.
• Manage inventory at customer well sites.
• Ensure effective customer service and communicate solutions to problems.
• Assist in prevention and cure of Lost Circulation and stuck pipe.
• Conduct field-level sales calls or accompany Sales Representatives.
• Support operations in providing environmentally safe drilling fluids.
• Adhere to Baker Hughes policies in all business activities.
