Job summary

Green Umbrella Recruitment is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead study execution and coordination across FEL phases in Muscat. You will manage multi-discipline inputs, maintain schedules, and ensure consultant deliverables meet governance, quality, and cost requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Mining/Process/Metallurgical/Mechanical/Civil Eng and a minimum of 8 years in mining or industrial project development with FEL exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining, Process, Metallurgical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in mining or industrial project development with FEL exposure.
• Experience coordinating multi-discipline inputs and reviewing consultant deliverables.
• Familiarity with stage-gate FEL lifecycle and cost estimation concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead study workstreams across FEL phases and FEED, ensuring scope, schedule and budget adherence.
• Coordinate inputs from geology, mining, metallurgy, process engineering and infrastructure.
• Maintain study schedules, registers and KPI tracking; escalate deviations with corrective actions.
• Review consultant outputs and ensure quality, traceability and governance compliance.
• Prepare study documentation for gate reviews and support procurement of consultants.
