Job summary

Marriott International in Muscat, Oman is seeking a Senior Food & Beverage Leader to oversee culinary, restaurant, beverage and room service operations. You will drive guest and employee satisfaction while meeting financial goals and ensuring compliance with F&B laws and standards.

Responsibilities include developing business plans for F&B, managing budgets, leading teams, delivering exceptional service, and coaching staff to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4 years experience in the food & beverage, culinary, or related professional area.
• 2-year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with 2 years experience in F&B or related area.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages all financial, employee engagement and guest satisfaction plans for F&B departments.
• Maintains a positive cost management index for kitchen and restaurant operations.
• Utilizes budgets to understand financial objectives.
• Manages the Food and Beverage departments (not catering sales).
• Supervises and manages employees; manages day-to-day operations; understands employees' roles to cover in their absence.
• Leads and develops teams with a focus on motivation, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Provides excellent customer service and responds quickly to guest concerns.
• Provides coaching and counseling to team members; fosters trust and cooperation.
• Sets clear expectations and ensures rewards for exceeding goals.
• Ensures service standards and brand culture across all F&B outlets.
