Job summary

Oman Investment Authority seeks a Transmission Operations professional to safeguard the safety, reliability, and efficient operation of the transmission system in the assigned zone. You will ensure adherence to quality, health, safety, and environment rules and regulations within your zone.

Responsibilities include compliance with license and grid code, overseeing maintenance contracts, reporting on system performance, and supervising staff within the zone.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related function.
• Minimum of 7 years experience in handling the transmission function and/or related function.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance to the Transmission functions for the region.
• Ensure implementation and adherence to Quality Health Safety and Environment regulations in his zone.
• Support other departments in collection and reporting of system operations data.
• Ensure continuous availability of the system and quick restoration of outages in his zone.
• Supervise and manage maintenance contracts in his zone.
