Job summary
A leading Electricity Transmission System Operator is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to enhance transmission network performance. This role involves Asset Management, Maintenance & Reliability, and Quality Control across transmission infrastructure. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, with at least 10 years of experience, strong knowledge in high-voltage equipment, and experience with asset management systems. Proficiency in English is essential, and Arabic is a bonus. The role is full-time based in Oman.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Asset Management, Maintenance & Reliability, and Quality Control.
- Strong knowledge of high-voltage equipment.
- Experience in reliability engineering concepts and asset investment planning tools.
Responsibilities
- Support development of Asset Management Plans for transmission infrastructure.
- Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, design teams.
- Analyze maintenance and failure data to enhance asset reliability.
- Conduct testing & commissioning of transmission assets.
