Job summary

Oman Electricity Transmission Company (OETC) seeks a senior leader to provide strategic governance over its transmission network planning and engineering design functions. You will oversee long-term network development, regulatory compliance, and major investment appraisals, ensuring economical and technically sound solutions aligned with national energy goals.

The role leads engineering consultancy activities, tendering for EPC contracts, and standards enforcement, promoting innovation and cost

Qualifications

• Minimum 11 years in electrical power systems.
• Minimum 11 years in electrical power systems and transmission planning.
• Minimum 4 years in a managerial or leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Lead transmission network planning and design strategy.
• Oversee long-term expansion plans and capacity assessments.
• Ensure compliance with Grid Code Oman standards and licences.
• Oversee engineering design, technical governance and standards.
• Coordinate with asset management and finance for investments.
• Oversee consultancy tendering and EPC project interface.
• Support regulatory submissions and business plans.
